Frequently Asked Questions For Summer STEM Camps:

  1. Do I need to sign my child in and out of camp?
  2. We ask that you sign your child in and out each day of the summer camp. Please make sure to bring a photo ID with you to camp during sign out. Instructors will check ID's every day before releasing your child from camp. If there is another approved pickup guardian other than yourself, please list that guardian in your online account with Engineering For Kids or inform the teacher during sign in. To ensure safety, our instructors stay in class with children until a parent / guardian picks them up and signs them out. This gives us the opportunity to meet your family during camps!

  3. Should my child bring a snack to summer camp?
  4. We will take one break midway through our Half Day Camps. We do not provide snacks due to allergies, but encourage parents to provide a nut-free snack for their child. Bottled water is available at camp and each location has water fountains available as well. If your child is attending a Full Day Camp, please send a small snack for both the morning and afternoon camps. Lunch is not provided during the supervised lunch period, so please send a lunch each day of camp for your child.

  5. Do kids go outside during summer camp?

Depending on the weather, we may take Half Day Campers outside to eat snacks during break, or during our lunch period for Full Day Campers. We may allow campers to play outside if there is a sufficient amount of space at the site. Please feel free to send your child with a hat/ sunscreen if you choose (please apply sunscreen before camp begins!).
