Homeschool Enrichment Programs at Engineering For Kids of Kern

TK – 9th grades

Engineering For Kids of Kern introduces kids ages 4-14 to engineering and technology through engaging, hands-on, project-based classes. Homeschoolers will practice the engineering design process and develop 21st-century Skills that will prepare them to be flexible and creative in whatever future fields they pursue.

What will my child be doing in the class?

We provide hands-on lessons based on engineering topics while covering the Engineering Design Process. Each class includes a demonstration and activity where students engineer their own projects, followed by time to ask questions, reflect, and improve their designs.
