At Engineering for Kids, we are constantly striving to bring you the coolest and most educational programs possible. This year we are excited to bring you some brand new camp themes that we think will certainly accomplish this goal. Some of the highlights for new camps this year include Minecraft Camps, a new Video Game Design camp utilizing Microsoft's Kodu Video Game Design environment and new computer programming camps utilizing Scratch. This is in addition to some brand new themed camps that feature hands-on engineering projects. Please take a moment to review our Summer Camp Guide to learn all about the new camps we have planned. We will be offering our camps from the weeks of June 1st - July 27th. Full day and half day camps will be available. We hope to have our schedule finalized and registration open next week! 2015 Camp Guide
Welcome to East Valley Engineering for Kids!
Engineering for Kids is a leading enrichment provider that teaches Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education to kids in a unique, fun, and inspiring way through classes, camps, clubs, and parties. We are proud to stimulate children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching science and engineering concepts through hands-on learning. We encourage scientific literacy in children in an age when science is as vital as reading, writing and arithmetic. Engineering is also, after all, one of the fastest growing industries in the world! Kids are natural engineers, and we inspire them to think about math and science in a different way, potentially making them more aware of this profession and a possible future career.
At Engineering for Kids, our unique STEM curriculum:
• Help children ages 4-14 build problem solving skills
• Encourage kids to discover how things work while sparking their imagination
• Increase kids' desire to explore engineering as a career option
• Motivate kids to learn math and science concepts by engaging them in real-world engineering problems
***Each of our units is designed to meet National Educational Standards in STEM: Science (NSES), Technology & Engineering (ITEEA), and Mathematics (NCTM)***
