Welcome!We put the excitement in S.T.E.M. education by offering hands-on-learning for children ages 4 to 14 through FUN activities from designing and constructing rockets, hot air balloons, and roller coasters to robotics, video game designing and creating fun objects using LEGO® bricks. The variety of programming is extraordinary! All our projects are open ended and engaging our students even after the classes finish -- we are truly inspiring the next generations of Engineers!

Our Management TeamDr. Yi Pan is the Program Director of Edison Engineering for Kids, serving Middlesex and Somerset County of New Jersey. Dr. Pan obtained her BS in Chemistry and Ph.D. in Molecular Cancer Biology. Prior to joining Engineering for Kids, she led drug discovery research teams at Merck, Inc. , a leading pharmaceutical company. Her upbringing by parents who are both scientists as well as her research background made her keenly aware of the importance of quality STEM education in a child's life. The Edison Engineering for Kids Edison team led by Dr. Pan strives to be an engaging STEM education partner for our central Jersey communities.
Ms. Hagit Mano is our Associate Program Director. Besides teaching, Ms. Mano is responsible for our staff training and evaluation. Ms. Mano is an early childhood specialist and a scientist -- the combination made her especially suitable for this role. Ms. Mano received a Masters degree in Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel, and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. For more than two decades, Ms. Mano has been bringing innovative science and math enrichment programs to various educational settings . She has worked as pre-school teacher, special education teacher, initiated and organized hands-on science fairs for elementary school students, coordinated After School Programs and served as field supervisor for Rutgers Teaching interns.
