Director and Owner, Shu-ling Garver
Shu-ling Garver has been an engineer at Intel Corporation since 1989. She has had a very successful career as a technical assistant / advisor to Intel’s enterprise Chief Technology Officer (CTO). She is currently in Intel's Global Ecosystem Development working with major computer manufacturers and designers (OEM/ODM) for their computing platform launches.
Shu-ling received her M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Oregon Graduate Institute. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Portland State University and a B.A. in English Literature from Shanghai Foreign Languages Institute.
Shu-ling is devoted to help our next generation to generate more engineers. Especially, she wants to help young girls to understand that engineering and science are not just for boys. She is an inspiration to other engineers and future engineers.

Curriculum Director and Owner, Bret Hadley
Bret Hadley has worked in high tech companies including In Focus and Pixel Works as an operation’s manager. Bret has since obtained a Master of Art in Teaching (MAT) in the field of Physical Education and Health from Portland Concordia University. He taught Health, PE, Language Arts, and Science classes. His dream was becoming a teacher to work with and educate our kids. Our next generation is in desperate need of engineering and science awareness, education and participation. Bret has always enjoyed working with children.
Besides Bret’s graduate education and strong skills to qualify him as a great teacher, he has always been an athlete in multiple sport disciplines. He enjoys all sports, especially soccer and bicycling.
